PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this project was to remove and re-instate the masonry section of the culvert as it was in poor condition and at risk of future flooding.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
Our scope of services comprised of –
The removal and reinstatement of the masonry section of culvert, including the inlet head wall and the two manhole chambers. The masonry arch barrel was replaced with a HDPE pipe that tied into new manholes and inlet head wall. A bund was wrapped around the head wall, tying into the watercourse upstream to retain the watercourse during a flood event. The existing watercourse was tied into the new head wall using gabion baskets.
