Accreditation

Calibre Contracting are accredited for BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management system and BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management system and is currently working towards an integrated system and accreditation to ISO 18001 by December 2014.

Training

As a company, to develop our workforce is extremely important to us, we value our long standing employees as well as our new, to which we keep motivating to do well through continually upgrading their training.

We are developing a training plan so that we can offer apprenticeships to the younger generation.

During 2013-2014 Calibre Contracting employed two school leavers on apprenticeships, who work within a team of specially trained operatives within their field.

Both individuals were authorised to take day release to participate in an NVQ level 2 Ground works Course as part of their development. Both have successfully completed their first year, and are moving on to their second year.

There are 2 new Apprentices beginning their NVQ level 2 Ground works Course journey with us commencing September 2014.

Our company intension is to roll out this scheme and by next year our aim is to recruit more apprentices to follow on from the previous two, each year our aim is to offer this opportunity.

We will develop them to the best of their ability offering continual extensive training. Currently 90% of our workforce is going through additional training.
