PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this project was to undertake essential drainage and carriageway improvement works on Cwmavon Road, Blaenavon.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
Our scope of services comprised of –
- The scheme involved the installation of a new stormwater drainage system, including a bespoke concrete drainage channel and dedicated headwalls at each outfall location to improve surface water management and reduce flood risk.
- In addition, the existing carriageway was resurfaced and relined, providing a new finish to more than 9,000 m² of roadway, and significantly enhancing the condition and safety of the route.
- The project was successfully delivered over a 14-week programme, minimising disruption while achieving the required infrastructure improvements.
